Intel Reader

Humanware offered a comprehensive presentation on the Intel Reader via Web seminar in mid-December 2009. The archived version of the Intel Reader presentation is now available.

The Intel Reader is a portable device that allows users to take a photograph of text and have it read back to them. In addition, it includes a Daisy Reader so books may be kept on this device as well. At first glance, this device seems similar in function to the KNFB Reader. This VRT is looking forward to a hands-on presentation in February, and the opportunity of having a loaner available for several weeks. Stay tuned.
