There are 3 versions of the Amazon Echo, featuring the personal digit assistant, Alexa. The Amazon Echo is $179, The Amazon Tap is $129 and the Echo Dot is $49. Although there is a difference in the hardware features on each, they all offer the same access to Alexa. Echo Dot delivers Alexa for $49, and that is really a great deal, particularly for those who may not be as comfortable using a computer, tablet or smart phone. Once installed, everything on the echo is accessed using voice commands.
